12/29/2010 7:32:00 AMHow deep did you go the other day? I would suggest starting at 200' and working out almost to the 400' marker before turning.

Andy has been continuing to work up above the Yacht Club for big fish. Depths from 200 to 400 feet are most productive. The McCullough gang had a great time catching fish and bonding. They netted a nice pile of fish including a trophy sized Laker and a beautiful 7 pound Chinook that bit at 333' on the bottom. Kingfisher Lite spoons in the glow colors are working best now. This is great territory for T4 Purple Glow flatfish and those Rushin' Salmon Wobblers by Critter Gitter are another low drag option. By the stomach contents of the lakers, I think we are in for a nice kokanee year this year.
That big laker was 17 pounds but almost 40". It was a very long and lean laker.
