I'm new to Sammamish and cutthroat, so this was an awesome beginning. Went out Fri, Sat, and Sunday. About 3 hours each day. Trolling from my Portabote with leadcore line out about 2 1/2 colors. Best luck was with an "Abe and Al" flasher, red wedding ring, tasty chunk of crawler.Tried triple teaser too, but that yielded smaller fish.
Since I only run an electric motor, I'm limited to the south end, but plenty of take downs and landed fish.
The biggest was 22", and man that thing was stubborn on my light action setup.
Next biggest was 19".
Also got to meet friendly people at the launch who helped me know what's working out there.
Isn't it sweet how hard these Cutts hit and take down, even when they long-distance-release?
I go from super relaxed, almost meditating while trolling and then, KAPOW, heartrate at 200!
Happy New Year.
Dave

I thought the 22"er was a RB due to all the color and put it back, but later learned it was a cutt.

Nice report. Good for you! How deep was the water you were trolling in? Tight lines.

@danm-I went out from the launch and trolled between the two points in the open waters and got most hits in the middle away from either shore. Out from Greenwood Point. According to the map, it's 70-90 ft deep.
If that helps.

It's almost embarrasing to admit!! I was out there on this past Thurs. for 4 hours. Only 1 take down. "Ahl bee bawk"
