Today we fished on Evergreen Reservoir. We were using jigging raps with worms on the bottom treble hook. Early in the morning, before 8AM, we got four Walleyes and the biggest was 22inches. After 8 AM Perch was killing us. Everyone of us caught and released at least fifty. We got the last Walleye at about 5 PM only. Overall, we were not satisfied because 5 Walleyes/one limit for 5 people is no good.

Wow, how did you get out on the ice??? A couple days ago the edges were open water and the temp has been rising ever since. Thats weird!

Did you use a boat or was it ice fishing? Wow, that sounds like HOT action on the perch, thanks for the info on Evergreen. Any size to the perch?

The ice is 4 inches. The perch is small, none of them exceeded 10 inches

I stopped out there last sat afternoon for about an hour, the ice was good, the perch were many, 6" approx but fat, I parked at the west access, worm worked well.

Not much experience with this lake. Anyone care to point out the areas and tackle for perch and walleye? Please. Thanks

We were using jigging raps and actively searching for schools of fish using fishfinders and the tackle itself until fish was starting to bite. There are no specific areas but the deeper the better.
