This is a report for the past two days: We arrived at the lake on saturday round 2pm and by 230 I successfully landed my first brute, a 23 in, 7lb hen, my largest fish so far in Washington state! We caught n kept a total of 7 fish and knew it would be a great idea to head back out at 2pm the following day, today, Sunday. After arriving at the lake, me and a buddy decided it best to knock some holes in a random area of the lake (far north from the dock). Within 30 seconds I hooked into a monster, and after a few minutes so did my friend!!! We had two brutes on at the same time and after a 20 minute fight, my friend lost his at the hole,but my battle was still on! after over an hour, I landed the 10lb giant, which also became my largest fish in WA so far!!! :) We soon moved our position and landed 6 trout and 1 perch, totaling 8 fish for the day....WOW! I may have skipped out on an afternoon of homework, but I feel it was definately worth it :)
