Went after the perch through the ice. We had intended to treat some folks to some good action, but the weather forecast of snow and wind discouraged them. So it was just two of us. It did indeed snow, and hard for awhile, but as usual, winter is beautiful in its own way. The snow did quit and the skies cleared partly. Once again, we caught enough perch for a fish fry, on typical perch gear, through adequate ice. There were about 100 anglers on the lake today. We had a fine time conversing with the Fish Lake mayor, who was keeping an eye on things and making sure everyone was on the up-and-up.
