Me and my buddy Kyle went out to Shady because of a good report on trout on this forum. Thanks to the person who posted that. Got out to the lake and got some bites the first hour but no hook-ups. Later on, we were trolling a red wedding ring with worm, and I had a green power egg and pink power bait. We got a good trolling path going and we got 8 trout. We released one that was probably only 6 inches and sacrificed one for a bald eagle that was on the lake. There was actually two of them. Before I got the fish off the hook the eagle took flight. After being rough with the trout I threw him in the water and hit the trolling motor to drive away. Before I could grab my camera the Eagle was already on the fish and caught it less than 20 feet from our boat. It was amazing. Makes going fishing all the more enjoyable I guess haha.
