1/17/2011 7:22:00 AMW e go back and forth between electric and gas on this lake, if we are trolling I'll generally (depending on time of year) use the elec. as it has finer speed control and it's not too big a lake, but for still fishing(which I believe is better in the winter on this lake) we use the gas engine as it enables us to get in and out faster (esp. when that cold rain hits!) 1/17/2011 3:11:00 PMIt didn't look like it was out of the hatchery more than a month or two, we caught a pair in mid-december that were a little smaller but about the same , meat wise. Smaller fish was about 13 inches and red inside, usual holdover.
