First of all since there is no way I can list my pond, this is not about lake Pleasant, but rather about my Pleasant Pond.. I spent most of the day inventorying and I was getting real disappointed at the harsh reality of how much prices are going up over last year, several boxes of ammon on my shelves have taken over a $10/box increase from this time last year... Most of you have no clue whats around the corner for our beloved country, best fish while you can! It was getting foggy and I just got my new fishing goggles and wanted to try out the high contrast lenses, so I grabbed my ice gear and walked down to the pond, dumped the water out of the canoe and began searching for my old friend Mr. Big. Havn't caught him in a while now and he gets harder to fool, bet he is now pushing 9# he was hardly a half a pound when I threw him in ohh soo many years ago now. Well I chased the waterfowl off the pond and had about 20 minutes of solitude all the time wondering where ole Biggy was hiding. Well if it wasn't for the leaf I caught I would have to say I got skunked, again! But I think I am going to like my new fishing glasses. Klahowya!
