I fished Lake Sammamish both Saturday and Sunday. Fishing was pretty good both days. On Sunday, there was some rain and the wind really blew so I could only troll one direction consistently. The weekend ended with 17 takedowns, 12 landed, three got away and two drive bye's, We had one double on Sunday. The majority of the fish were caught at 13 feet on the downrigger cable. The best bait was a small white hootchie tied 15 inches from a small flasher. If you top your hooks with a grub or two, you'll increase your catch rate. Stay out of the cloudy water at the south end of the lake, troll around the weather station and don't leave the fish when you find them. The best bite was about 10 AM to 2:30PM. Here's picture of a few fish caught by a couple of Texas boys, Fred and Colin. As always, email or call me if you have any questions.
