Had the boat hooked up and on the road to Mill Bay launch about 0700. Sprinkles of rain and snow, but in the lower 30s air temp. Backed the boat into the water, and slid it off the trailer. Jumped in to start up the motor to warm up while I parked the truck. Hit the ignition, AND Nothing. Everything works except the main engine. This happened the last time I tried to launch herre and I thought I had it fixed. Grrrrrrrr. After checking all the obvious to no avail, it's back on the trailer, and home to the garage where I can look at it out of the weather. When I got in the garage, I turned the ignition key "on", and the dash lights and instruments lit up, so bumped the starter, and the starter kicks in. GO figure. I pull the boat out and hook up the hose to the inlets, and start er up. No prob. On and off several times. Worked every time. By this time I had other things to do, so it was around 3:30 or so before I could pull the boat down to the public launch here in chelan. I was thinking it might be some weird something happening when I put the boat in the water. I have no clue what is going on. But alas, she kicked off with no problems. Maybe I'm jinxed at the mill bay launch or something. LOL. Any way, headed up to the lower end of the "trench" and made a pass, since I had about an hour to kill. Put on an ace Hi-fly and a flat fish. On the first pass up in about 216 feet depth, I had two take downs that popped off the clip, but didn't hook either one of them. So I put on another hi-fly, and headed back down to the lower end. Had one hit, and hooked up with one. Even though it was a small one, it kept the skunk out of the boat and had a couple fillets for dinner. Still 4 hits in about an hour and a half is pretty good for me. Had some snow and drizzle, with a chilly breeze. At least the day ended much better than it started.

Hey Loui. It must be that Arkanas good ol' boy stubborness you southern gentlemen are famous for! Lol, Glad to know you made ir out and rewarded the Mrs. with something to cook for supper! I Now I just need a good trip to get the "skunk" off of my back...and out of my boat! Err?... (I'm NOT refering to Pammy neither. She weilds a filet knife way too deftly for me to chance that!) Lol Great report my Famous and Lengendary-finely bearded friend. Jiggy

Nothing worse than an intermittent problem.( I'd stay away from that Mill Bay launch). I sure hope you find it. Glad to see you were able to get out and do some catching. Thanks for the report.

Hey Jiggster, I'm not sure the Mrs felt "rewarded", but she sure cooked up a mean dinner out of it. LOL As far as the skunk, It is hard to get that smell out once it is experienced. Thanks for the comment.

Appreciate the comment MarkFromSea, and I didn't only jiggle the cable, I even changed out the batts. LOL I'm not superstitious, but I'm beginning to wonder.
