My friend and I wanted to go fishing on saturday but couldnt decide where to go. Blackmans was on the list, so we decided to give it a try. Threw in some powerbait on both poles(2 pole endorsement). waited for half an hour and nothing, I figured I would give it a longer soak and it sure did payoff. Bam! the ultra lite loomis bent over backwards, I had only 4lb test so i took my time cause I knew it was a hog. I had to drag to shore cause we didnt have a net. I landed it and man was it big, we weighed it on the trustworthy rapala scale and ended up being 10.7 pounds!!! Fished for a couple more hours and nothing but my friend did manage to come up with a 5 pounder, but I still claimed victory. All in all it was a good day, we'll be back and maybe try the new smokercraft next time. I'll post pics soon since my dog chewed up my cord.
