Wow. Great day to be on the lake. I'm sure the other 15-20 boats would agree. Sunny for 1/2 the day and 50 degrees, winds calm. Water temp 48 degrees. Started at the boat launch at 9 am, with no action until 11 am as we approached the weather station. Started getting bites, but no hook ups till noon. Then our luck changed. Hooked up with four in the next couple hours running the 90' line between the weather station and the point to the north. Two were really nice (14, 16, 18, and 18 1/2 inches). Biggest one weighed in at 2 1/2 pounds. Didn't need the net for the big one, he did a cartwheel into the back of the boat. What fun. I've been catching a few on recent trips, but hadn't hooked up with the nicer fish till this weekend. Ran the riggers between 10 and 20, bites at both depths, 100 feet back. Needlefish in perch pattern worked for us. Thanks to all for posting. Your methods work.

Tight Lines,
Danny
