Andy and Jeff took lifelong friends and fishing partners Albert Stubbs and Paul Batton fishing up at Rufus. With very cold water temps and not much flow they decided to motor up to the lower pens and bait fish. They used rainbow Power Bait and Gulp eggs off of slip sinker rigs to catch the fish. As in most recent days, the majority of the fish are recent releasees, but there were a couple of nice fish mixed in. An Eight Pound three ounce fish was big fish of the day. Remember when using bait, you must retain whatever trout you catch as part of the daily limit. The guys are holding fish for 4 people, we came up one fish shy of a 4 guy limit.

This was the biggest trout of Paul's life!

They had a great time catching fish, enjoying some nice late winter weather and swapping some fishing stories.
