Took my son and nephew for a little quick fishing trip. It was actually their idea and I was happy
to have the time and agreed. Rigged both their rods with powerbait about 2 feet off the bottom,no
such luck for them. We did see a few fish surface,eating bugs off the top of the water.
About an hour in with no hookups,it was clear that the kids were losing interest. This now turns into a delicate balancing act of keeping kids excited about future fishing trips,so we called it for the day and I opted to let them play on the toys for a bit.
Might give Silver (Cowlitz) a shot this weekend.
