Great day when out of the wind. Nice N' Sunny, but cold wind from NNE. Got the boat running after a half our of cranking and white smoke from winterization treatment. Tried the south end mostly, found some shelter from the breeze. After sun was behind the trees we saw a small fish flop 30ft from shore but otherwise nothing all day. Casting spoons & spinners plus bounced a worm along the bottom, no bites but wasn't after it for long. First time out for a while so more time was spent re-spooling reels, checking out the boat after nearly 18months of dormancy. Nice lake, few boats out on that day. We found a chunk of the concrete boat ramp missing about 10 ft from water-line. Watch that left side (when looking at the water) while backing in your boat-trailer. The end of some rebar is exposed there and could go through a side-wall of your trailer tire if it hits it just right.
Nice deep to shallow conditions within a couple yards of each other. We will try it again when we are ready.
