Had a couple of hours to kill so I flew up to E burg to hit North Fiorito.The lower lake is still about 80% iced,but the upper lake was ice free.Started out trolling a prism shad pattern Daiwa SC Shiner with the front hook removed,and a siwash on the rear.I caught and released 4 fish on the first pass around the bottom half of the lake then it died.I switched over to a small jointed shad rap in perch and caught several more until the brisk air got the best of me causing me to head for home.I kept 3 fish around 11-12 inches to eat for dinner.Water was so cold had to troll as slow as possible to get hit.
