Went out early Sunday morning about 7am and stayed till about 3:30pm. Took my brother inlaw to Rotary pond just off the right side of freeway when heading over to Selah from Yakima...It was a slow start not much action on the freeway side of pond so we slowly moved over the other side where the docks are...about 12noon came around and thats when we started hooking some 9-10" trout. After trying a few things it was obvious that bottom fishing was the way to go...with a sinker on top and about 2 1/2 foot line for the hook...after I put that setup on I couldnt keep these little guys off my hook :) at any rate it was lots of fun hooking my first trout for the year...I have trip planned in april and again in may to go to The Cove or fish lake. So keep a look out for my report on that April 30 will be the first trip and the next will be May 21st the weekend of my birthday hope to hook lots of fish and have fun with the fam....until next time Washington Good Luck......
