Had a great day with my buddy ice fishing Patterson.. didn't get there until around 3pm and fished until 7pm... but we nailed our 5 Kokanee each right away and then ended up catching a bunch more and releasing them... tried to find some perch but we only ended up catching 10 or so that were about 6".. the weird thing was their swim bladders blew up and were sticking out so I ended up taking them home as not to waste them. My buddy did get one good perch that was 13" and was shaped like a football! JUMBO PERCH! Fun day and definitely going back when I have all day to fish! Sorry no pics due to rain and snow! The lake has a good foot and a half of ice with a foot of snow on top of it. The snow was starting to melt so there was standing water on top of the ice. I'm sure the lake won't be ice free for a month or more!
