3/26/2011 2:05:00 PMThe launch at Liberty is shallow, at least for shore fishing. It pains me to see the public fishing area in such a shallow location. Even on a long cast, it is only about 6 or 7 feet off the fishing dock.

3/27/2011 12:21:00 PMThe entire lake is shallow. especially around the shoreline. It's 20-30' deep out in the center of this lake. The brood stock are kind of fun to catch, but I would advise throwing them back as their meet is white on the insides.

3/27/2011 1:43:00 PMIve heard that there is walleye in liberty also. Ive seen some fish that were acting like walleye but I threw everything I could at them and nothing every hit. But I have heard rumors from a lot of people that they are in there. Anybody got any sightings?
