My son and I tried this lake for the first time on Saturday. We spent a couple of hours there and managed 2 fish. One was a 6" rainbow that was very darkly colored. The other was a 10 or 11 incher. Both fish came on meal worms suspended under a bobber. We were just trying to waste some time and maybe hook a bluegill, so the trout were a pleasant surprise.
