Headed out to lake Sammamish today to see if I couldn't catch my first fish of the year. Last year around august ata Idylwood you would catch something about every other cast.The drop off we usually fished at was under water so we fished on the dock, with a variety of methods power eggs with worm, blue fox spinners, berkely worms retrieved slowly on the bottom, but nothing even got a bite the 45 min we were there. Right as we were about to pack up and leave from the weather getting bad we saw three bald eagles on the lawn of a house on the other side of the lake, we couldn't see why they were there. In another month or two, the bite should pick up and I'll hopefully have some pictures of some fish to upload. Full Stringers!
