The lake was 47 degrees and a little choppy at first. The wind I would say was breezy and at times windy making boat control hard. I was out with friends trying to show them how to get kokanee on American Lake. Got Glen set up with a bahama mamma and my new yellow squiddy thang and before I got myself set up he got one on his little crappy pole. We were using the downriggers at 13 feet. Got to net it with my new to me net from DBField. We got a few more and then the bite quit for us. Later we switched and put on pink-white squiddy thangs and started catching again. But it was time to go. On the water from about 10-2. Not real fast action but those fish are nice sized. All over 12 inches and chunky!
Picture has some of the fish we caught.
