This is a very late report. I fished Flowing with two lines for 2 1/2 hours on March 15 with out a bite. Nor did I see any of the alledged 2000 fish supposedly planted a few days prior and nothing on the fish finder or surface action to indicate fish had been planted. In my mind I was certain the 2000 fish had NOT been planted as advertised. I spoke to one shoreline resident who indicated that virtually no one had been fishing, nor had he seen any surface activity. I saw one other boat that day. So I called t the state offices with my story and was politely thanked but obviously not taken seriously.

However, I now see others feel the same way accordimg to the reports. So today I called again and pointed out a few things additionally including referring the gent to these reports. He got the message this time and said he would check into it. And I believe he means what he says.

While the fish folks do a great job I remained firmly convinced (70 years trout fishing experience) that the first 2000 fish from the Whitehorse hatchery for whatever reason did not make into Flowing as advertised.

I was at flowing on Wed the 13th and caught 5 with spinners from the public dock and not the park. The planters seem smaller then normal. I fish flowing all year and have fished it several times since they allegedly stocked it. The 13th was the 1st time I saw any type of fish. I do believe the lake has now finally been stocked.

Now the next problem is that there were at least 40 of those birds that dive for the fish. They were just swimming in a circle following the fish and diving. I saw one 10ft from the dock surface with a fish and swallowed it and then dove again. Like I said I fish flowing all year long from both ends and have never seen that many birds.

That is April 13th by the way. Like 3 days ago.
