We had Bobby Loomis and Dustin Countryman out for a trip on Chelan. We wanted to work a few locations for Lakers and pound away for Kokanee. The Laker fishing was great using a variety of Mack's Lures Cha Cha Squidders baited with Pikeminnow strips. The Kokanee fishing still wasn't happening with us. We used Wedding rings and mini sqidders baited with corn. We used smile blades, Flash Lites, Hot Wings and Double "D" dodgers for a couple of hours on both sides of the lake with just one kokanee. We had 4 other bites, but considering the density of the fish on the sonar and the array we had out, the kokanee just weren't happening yet.
