As the weather is so nice I thought I'd head back to my home lake. Hit the water around 11 am, the sun was out, a slight breeze, and the surface temp was 47. I started trolling my trusty black rooster tail, but with only 1 little rainbow after an hour I decided to go back to worms. I anchored in 12' of water where I had been marking fish and seeing them jump. Within an hour I had 4 cutthroat to add to my rainbow and I was heading back home.
The fish weren't very big, all 9"-11", but great for the smoker. I had my best luck with half a crawler about 4' under a bobber. The water level is starting to go down in the lake, so if that keeps up it should be fishable from shore soon (and not from a boat until the water clears the cement barriers), unless we get significant rainfall.
