Cindy and I had a few hours to spare, so headed out to Roses for a little casting. We were using Kast Masters, Phobes. and Super Dupers for trout, and jigs tipped with eye balls, Crappie nibbles, and nymphs. Seemed everthing caught a fish, but nothing was the ticket today. Trout were cooperative, C&Red some smaller ones, and kept two for the grill. The perch were scattered and moving around. Didn't catch more than one in a spot. Kept one 8 1/2 - 9" bluegill, a few perch from 9-11 ", so Had a good mess of fish for a short time on the water. No crappie this trip, but should be getting more active as the water temp rises. Caught fish in 6 - 20 feet of water, and mostly close to bottom. Several boats out to enjoy the beautiful day and a couple of Osprey fishing also. Surface temp 48-53* and temp at 14-18 feet 49* consistently. Gotta love our fishing opportunities. Stay safe and fish often.,

Nice Perch. I can't wait for the west side to warm up a bit so we can get in on some of that.

You bet Blufin! I will probably be passing you at Roses or Wapato this spring and summer! I get home from college the first week of June and then I will be up there as much as possible! I will be in a camo Polar Kraft so go ahead and come say hi! I love fishing for bass and panfish up there! I do it a ton every summer! Save a few for me until I get back home to East Wenatchee! ha ha
