My buddy and I tried out this lake for the first time today. Great day to get outside and fish today. Surface water temps anywhere from 55-61 throughout the day. 6 fish boated and 2 lost boatside. Nothing huge, 2lb.2oz. was the largest. All fish C&R'd on jigs, tight to cover, 1-6 feet deep, Blk/blue and green/brown combos produced. Nice lake, we will be back.

Alright, nice to see Bitter is turning on. This isn't a bad lake at all in the warmer summer months.

Nice lookin' bass, guys!

I'm thinking of heading here this weekend, where's a good place to launch a pontoon?

By the baseball fields at the south end of the lake. There are several landings where you can launch hand-held watercraft. Be careful if you wade in the water near there. Submerged rocks are a tripping hazrad...not to mention the soft bottom where the lily pads will be is like quicksand in some places.
