Started around 4 and fished till dark. Just got back from Japan last weekend so I'm unaware of what the bass are doing right now (spawn, prespawn...) From what I can tell... I have no clue! We pitched jigs and senkos all along the banks in spots I had luck last year in. We MAY have had a few nibbles but I'll never know. Tried a black and blue jig for awhile, brown jig, and another blue jig with some red. Green senkos didn't find em either. Dunno, guess I'll just have to keep pluggin away until I find em. My girlfriend said its been a abnormally cold spring here while I've been away and I can tell by the lack of vegetation in the lake. I did see a fish surface towards the extreme south end, looked like a bass but we could hook up with it to know for sure. Oh well, myself and the two guys I went out with had a blast. Felt good for all of us to get back out on the water after our time overseas! Tight lines all!

Ocktane go to the south end of the lake fish it slow with the same lures you're using on the main lake, the bass are feeding by the new pads that are growing I have only caught 3 bass out of that lake so far but I've only fish it twice in the evening

Definitely prespawn, at least on the east side. The bigger ones I've caught have looked like finned basketballs. Got 1 21' that went very near 6 lbs (5lbs 15oz on my Cabelas scale). She really needed to diet...
