Decided to try and get my son into fishing, so we put the state hatchery program to some good use. Took him to Tanwax to fish from the dock at Camp Lakeview.

Arrived at the lake around six thirty or seven. The air was a bit chilly, and there was frost on the dock, with a thick fog covering most of the lake. Don't know what the water temps were, but most likely right around 50 degrees or so.

Floated a fat nightcrawler on a four foot leader under a bobber. Hung out catching fish until the dock got too crowded until around ten thirty. Caught enough eight to ten inch stockers to throw on the Traeger for lunch.

It was a good morning to hang out with the boy. He just needs to polish up his casting a bit. Good times...
