Little Bonney Lake has been fishing real well for the stocked rainbows. PLEASE practice C&R to help this little close-to-home lake fish well longer. Mostly stocked fish, 10-12 inch class. They were real dark when they went in, but are becoming brighter and beautiful. Fishing dick nites on spinning gear or wooley buggers in olive, chartreuse or black on a fly rod are producing. Carey special also working. Splashy rises in the afternoon. Some guys probing for bass, but not a lot of bass activity yet. Some perch picked up while trolling Dick Nites. Again, this is a small lake that can't stand a ton of pressure, c&r is appreciated. Two dead fish at boat ramp - cleaned, then left there - inexcusable wasting. Tight lines, friends.
