Fished Tapps Sunday with my buddy Geoff. Launched from Allen Yorke. It is free to launch. From a reliable source it will be free for awhile. Bollards are down. Hit a heck of a rain squall 30 minutes into the afternoon. Lasted about that long and then pretty nice the rest of the afternoon. The water clarity is settling down pretty good. Temps started out at 56 and got up to 60 in a few areas.
Saw a tiger up along a point on the south end of the lake about 35 inches. Give or take. Then had a nice musky on about the same size over by the inlet. She hit my bulldawg twice. First time I saw her hit it and shake it around. Let it go she let it drop and hit it again. I set the hook and she shot about 3 feet out of the water right off the bow. Head shakes and all. Pretty cool. And she came loose. That was it for the day. Not bad for a 4 hour excursion. Should be good this weekend. Now get out there on the water. See yahs..
