My nephew & I arrived to the lake about 10:00 and it was a bit on the cold side. We started out trolling some willow leaves and spinners but just got small bites. We then converted over to our pop-gear trailing a medium night crawler about 14" behind a size 8 baitholder. This did the trick and we were off to the races. Several of the fish caught were in the 13-14" range.
At the end of the day, It was agreed that this was a quite nice fishing trip.
