Good day of fishing on North Lake. Cast and stripping flies on a intermediate line. Chartreuse crystal bug has been working. C&R about 4-5 dozen on a 3wt. Heard they just planted some more on 5/9.
Interesting to note, that the lake is No internal combustion engines allowed. Each day I have fished it, there are boats with huge gas engines mounted on the boats. My understanding is internal combustion engines are not even allowed to be mounted even if its not used or covered according to the regs (I checked with WDFW). If you do fish North, I would suggest removing it or going to a larger lake where they are allowed.
