I just heard about this lake so decided to take trip over there for some late afternoon to early evening fishing.

The dock was pretty crowded, nearly everyone bottom fishing using some form of powerbait. It seemed pretty slow so I decided to try some lures to see if that would work.

Cycled through various colored Roostertails and Mepps spinners before I decided to throw on a spoon. That seemed to be the hot lure that day as I started reeling them in every 4/5th cast. 8 to 12 inch in size. Trout, not sure what kind. They were pretty bright, so don't think they were bows'.

Felt like I could go on catching them all evening but had to take off for an appointment.

I don't typically keep the trout I catch (they just ended up sitting in my freezer for a year before I throw them out), so I gave them to another gentleman at the dock. I think he was a little shy about taking fish from someone else because when people came up and started asking how he caught all the fish on his streamer, he would be really evasive and wouldn't mention that he wasn't the one who caught them, lol.
