I spent the afternoon at Lake Tyee with the family. We decided to throw a bobber out from shore while we sat in our chairs and soaked in the rare sunshine. I was casting an orange blue fox around and noticed that the bobber was down. My wife reeled up the slack and the fish was still on. The rod was passed off to my daughter, who did a fine job fighting a nice trout.

It was a good sized 'Bow, about 16", and quite thick. It was released back into the lake (hopefully to be caught again during the Memorial day fishing derby!) No other hits or take downs, but it was nice to get some sunshine and fresh air.
