5/16/2011 1:14:00 PMThere is no public shore fishing at Deer, however if you get a day use pass from the resort ($10 i think) they have a fishing dock you can use.

5/16/2011 1:22:00 PMIs the fishing any good off the dock? I see you can rent a rowboat for $40 a day. I have a busted transom on my boat and won't be able to get on the water for a few months and am itching to get out.

5/16/2011 6:50:00 PMWe actually were fishing off of a private dock. Out of the 15 fish caught about half were at least last years fish. Tracker is right about the fins.

5/16/2011 8:46:00 PMAgreed, basically a perfect fish. Would love to catch one like that, thats not an ugly brooder or triploid. Then again, fighting a fish is fighting a fish and friends are friends....yours just happens to be a tad better :) Well done!
