So woke up friday morning and did the 3 hour drive to potholes! Got there about 8:30 and got a tent site! We went to Mardons and asked what was hitting the bass and we got a Senko and some Gamakatsu hooks, and a baby bass jig! Went and fished of the shore of the highway and my dad got one bite then we left because the wind was howling!! Because of the wind we didnt take the boat out, we arnt wimps the boat is 12' long! So the next day we get out on the water and we head up to the dunes and the water is like glass! We were throwing plastics, spinnerbaits,worms,jigs, all that we had and we couldent get a bite! We saw some huge carp swimming around and i threw my senko out to it and he looked at it and then my lil bro spooked him and he swam away! So we didnt catch crap this weekend, wait... we caught 18 scorpions!
