My buddy and I decided to try this lake for the first time. Didnt exactly fish hard but made a good attempt at the LMB. Best fish of five total was only 1lb.14ozs. Funny thing is, on our way back and forth from #1 to #3, my buddy decides to troll an inline spinner just for entertainment and he pulls in two nice trout along with a catfish. (brown bullhead, about 14 inches.) who woulda thought? catfish while trolling a spinner? anyway, biggest trout went 2lbs.5ozs. We also ended the day with some bobber fishing! Havent done that in years. It was kind of nice to slow down and remember where it all started, with that bobber and worm. Caught a bunch of perch and pumpkinseed, mostly small but a few good size here and there. Anyway, all fish caught and released except for the big bow. That one is gettin smoked. Good day today, one of the most relaxing in awhile.
