It was a beautiful day for fishing (low 60’s, partly sunny, tolerable north wind), but I found it to be a slow day for catching. I started out at 9:30 and returned to the ramp at 1:00 with two kokanee, missing on three other strikes. I was straight lining with ¼ oz weight, 4/0 nickel dodger and a variety of hand made spinners, all baited with Gulp maggots. I got action on red, pink, and amber spinners, but the pink/orange combination put fish in the boat. I turns out it was a beautiful day for mowing the lawn too, but I enjoyed the fishing much more!!
