First, I'd like to say thanks to my Buddy for hooking me up with one of his kayaks....without it, I probably would not have caught my first Kokanee.

We hit the lake at 630ish...got out on the water and started trolling just about right away. We used dodgers and wedding rings tipped with power bait maggots. Trolled at about 1.0mph...he got the first Koe at 13" and then about 5 minutes later I hooked my first one...sweet dancing fish. Had a great time out there today, 62F just about all over the lake and we left with 7 fish.

I've lived here 13 years and this was the second time out to American...definitely won't be my last....nice guys out on the lake too...courteous and polite fellas.....FISH ON!
