After having some luck last week, we decided to hit Lake Margaret again with our floating minnow presentation.

Arrived at Lake Margaret around 530am with my two teenage boys. One auto-n-boat showed up shortly after we backed the boat into the water. Reached middle of lake at around 545am. . After learning last week what caught the fish in this lake, we hooked up the Rapala floating minnows ( Fire Tiger F-5, Fire Tiger F-7, Orange-Gold F-9 )

Within 2hours we had 14 Rainbows - all 10"-12" long. We lost 5 on top of the 14 we caught. By 830 we were heading up 203 to get some McBreakfast at...well - you know where with vehicle full of hungary, tired, and completely satisfied teens.

The biggest catcher was the F-5 Fire Tiger - which my youngest boy used. He did the best, but all of these Rapala Floating Minnows do the job.

6 of these fish came up and hit the lures just a second after they hit the water. Beautiful shiny bodies completely out the water. My kids were just loving this.
