me and a friend arrived at langlois around 5:45 A.M. we started trolling and each landed a 13" rainbow and missed another in the first hour. We almost always have fun here so we stayed until noon , we only had 3 bites all the rest of the time we were there. We were trolling pretty shallow with a fly and worm and a quarter ounce split shot. My fish finder marked the fish at 24 -28 ft. deep, but we just couldn't get the right ratio of weight to speed to hit the targeted depth. Not wanting the trip to be a total let down we went to beaver before going home. It was overcast by now so me and my friend decided to switch to something brighter. He chose a chrome/red wedding ring, and i chose a silver/ neon green dick night. We landed 4 fish in another three hours ,but we worked for em. Not too sure ,but i believe a front must have came in and messed with the barometric pressure yesterday. Sorry no pics i am a lil forgetful of these things . :-)
