Lake Chelan has been outstanding Fishing for Laketrout in the lower Basin of Lake Chelan..
The Kokanee bite continues strong at and arounf the Best Western motel and Lake Chelan Shores..
Rufus Woods is starting to pick up now but man is the Water high!!!!
When targeting the Laketrout on Lake Chelan, Look for those tight Packed arches on the Graph. When you have located a big school, I have found that if you slow the boat down to a crawl and pop your lure off the downrigger and slowly drift over these fish They will Hammer it..I had 3 triples doing this in the last 2 trips out...
Kokanee on Lake Chelan the Good old Kokanee Pro by Mack Lures with Pautzke Fire Corn has been working Great..
Rufus Woods the Black Rooster tail in 1/4 oz with modified Single Hook has been a Great Presentation when fishing the Shore line...You can use bait but remember to read the Regulations when choosing to do so..I personally would not recommend bait because regardless if you release the fish or keep it you are done fishing...
