Got woke up early in the AM to the woman putting together a yard sale so I rocketed out of bed hooked up the boat and I was gone.Spent the majority of the day up crab creek trolling worm harnesses in water 12-16 ft deep.Early on silver smiley blades at about 1 mph worked the best for me.It wasnt lightning fast action but it put fish in the boat. The bite went completely dead around 2pm it was then I switched over to silver deep cup colorado blades, kicked up the speed to about 1.3 that my luck changed.I ended out my limit around 6pm the last one being a 3 1/2 pounder. The size were 14-24 inches.I would not normally give this a 5 star rating, but while I was filleting the fish I trolled out in front of Mar Don with 2 rods with perch rip n minnows on 4 colors of leadcore at about 2.8 mph and slammed a nice fat silvery 4 lb rainbow, and lost another. At this speed when a big fish hits your line it sounds like someone is whistling at you when the leadcore goes screaming through the guides on your rod.
