Headed to Leland in front of a weather change and started out slow but the change turned the bite on mid to late afternoon. Met my friend Alex on the water already and he was putting the steel to the Perch, all I caught was dinks but managed to catch a fair number of Crappie. The Bluegill are on the spawn and defending their redds, Alex caught a fine bull tipping Dons Dandy Crappie jigs with a small piece of worm. White was the color of the day. Klahowya!
