Took my 10 yr old out to Log Boom Park. Probably 8-10 other people out on the dock having a good time fishing. Simple rig. #8 bait holder 30" leader and a float. I would imagine he caught about 15 bluegills, a Sculpin and some fish that was silver, had a head like a perch but a minnow type body. Have no idea what kind of fish that is. Seen a few crappie caught as well. Very good place to keep a kid interested in fishing. He wants to go back tomorrow. All fish were C & R carefully.
