After my successful day yesterday, I wanted to try my luck at Sawyer. Got there at 6:45AM or so. Got onto the water and it was still. No breeze, no movement. Like someone took a picture. Pollen on top of the water staying in place. No fish jumping. Uh oh, this may be tough.

I've never fished the N end of the lake before, so I gave it a try. Used a mid diving crank with nothing to show for it. No bites on it. Started throwing a plastic worm. Had a few nibbles from small fish. 2 hrs later, I finally caught a SMB. Caught under a dock. Was only 12". Only fish of the day for me. Left at 10AM.

Saw a small school of perch chasing my worm. Also saw a few crappies just hanging out on fallen logs.

Good job The north end holds some good fish as well as the south end. I caught my biggest off Sawyer this year on the north end.
