Headed off to Blackman's this morning to find the south public area pretty full. Made a few casts anyway just to see if I could get a fish. Nothing. So I went out to take a look at Flowing Lake. $7.00 to get a day pass into the park? No thank you. Drove around to the public access area and made a few more casts with a spinnerbait, jig and senko. Got a follow on a nice LMB, but couldn't get it to take. Then my brain says to go back to Blackman's. So off I go. End up at Hill Park and head to the west dock. Still had the black and blue spinner bait on so I sent a few casts to the pads and close to the submerged log. 5th cast in and I get the bass in the photo. Tacklebox is 12" so this one is just over. Pretty thick and should tip over 1lb on a scale. I know there's good bass in this lake, it's just a matter of getting the right time when they are close to the banks that I can reach. Anyone else with knowledge about this lake please let me know about the bass fishing. Seems like it should be pretty good
