I only caught one fish today, but it was my first one of the season. I was so happy when that bobber went under the water. I hardly had to set the hook because the fish swallowed the power bait. It was a nice fat 11 inch Rainbow Trout. This lake is always active, the big ones are always jumping. I caught that fish at 1:20, it was my first cast and it only sat in the water for about 5 minutes. The rest of the day was slow. I stayed until 4, but I was just happy to finally catch one. I love coming to this lake because it is beautiful and peaceful. I will probably return on Friday and I hope to catch a few more, but this one will make a nice snack.

nice fish ravensdale. I've been fishing there quite a bit, both from shore and a boat. The shore fishing seems to have died down lately, especially with a bobber. Most people are getting success with green power bait on a 4' leader and casting as far as they can from shore, but the snags are numerous
