Headed out with fellow WL.com member MrA to Leland and stopped on the way to make delivery of some of my jigs and met up with WL.com member RicknTK and talked about Leland. Hope to get out with Rick and fish while he and another member are visiting. Well we ended up getting on the water somewhere around 4pm, MrA was in search for Perch while I was trying out some of my farmed maggots for Crappie. At start it appeared that the maggots were outfishing MrA's worm tipped jigs, but he is a very competative guy and began to put on quite the show of fishing prowess. In the short time we were on the water he put the steel to the Perch while I could only muster up a few c&r Crappie. By closing time MrA whooped my butt 12-1 on the keeper chart, but I won the consolation prize of being the recipient of filleting all the fish. Works for me! What a fishing partner! Klahowya!
